Sat 10th August...well only just!!

Oh what in the world is going on, its 4am and I have been woken up, given food (well not all bad!) and now put into the car...for goodness sake its still dark...best thing I can think of to do is to go back to sleep.

Not sure how long I have been asleep but the car has stopped so I am looking out the back window and its soooooo boring, we are in a carpark and the dawn is only just coming up..boring, boring boring..ohh hang on a minutes something is happening..there is another car pulling up behind us and some one is getting out...no it can't be...oh oh I am sure it is...your not going to believe me if I tell you but it is it is ...oh I must get out..LET ME OUT .ITS AUNTY SUE :) ..yippie. There is also some bloke with her, think I am seen him before ,,let me try and remember ..oh yes its Uncle shane.

To save my paws these will be known as AS (aunty Sue) and US (uncle Shane) for the duration of my blog.

So mum and dad put me into AS car and they say they are off to get a suntan (again!)...so off we go..time to sleep again and before I know it we have arrived..I think I remember where I am, I am sure there are 2 dogs that live here..lets go look..oh yes look look its Hazel and Merlin,

.. what fun I can jump all over them again and pin them down..I know they hate that, especially Hazel..hehe lets have a game of pin Teena on the doggie!.

So looks like I am here for a day or so ...no great hardship as I love AS very much..I will keep you posted on what exciting things we do and what mischief I get up too.

Look I am making friends, this is me and Merlin playing tug of war.. obviously I won as he is a little squirt.

This afternoon we had a big walk around the local park and I met a lot of AS dog walking clients and I managed to jump on all of them, the dogs that is,..i hope I see them again soon, such fun.
Tonight I am allowed to sleep in AS bedroom, but not on her bed -why can hazel & merlin go on the bed and not me??..just like being at home where those cats are allowed on the bed but I am not...never mind I have a HUGE bed of my own which is lovely and comfy and I sleep so well in it..night night.

Sun 6am..

Thats better a more acceptable time to wake up.., AS had a lay in till 7am, lazy.. what we doing today?..leads are out, breakfast eaten..we are off and yippee we are in the car..I have to share it with Hazel and Merlin so I better not bounce on them else I may not be allowed in again.
We have arrived at a big wood ...H&M (that Hazel and Merlin..need to safe my paws further with all this typing) are off lead.."oh let me off please AS pleaseeeeeee.."..but no luck, but never mind I am on the long lead and I can rush around sniffing and scenting and pulling and chasing..such fun, lots of new smells.
Does AS know were we are going, she keeps saying "lets try up here, I wonder where that goes?"..good job I am not off lead otherwise I am sure to run off and then get lost and then I would be really scared.

Whats happening!!! oh the heavens have opened and its pouring..where's my coat?, silly AS has not brought a coat for any of us, even herself, and we are all now really wet (never mind it is warm rain)..where shall we go to dry off I wonder?..and before I know it we are at Grandad wilkinsons where we all walked in with muddy paws across his floor, but to be honest between you and me I don't think he noticed let alone cared.

After all that activity I needed to rest and get some beauty sleep so while AS was doing the housework (why do they bother, mud is much more fun!!) I had a little nap

 

 

 

Now we are all off again for a game of ball in the big field..I love the big field!!, but its hot and after a while we all decide to have a little sit down to recover..that black and white spaniel is not merlin (he is out of shot as still chasing his ball as he is stupid and does not know when to stop)..this 'interloper' is the dog from up the road, where H&M go on holiday to, called Merlot..yes I know silly name, he is always drunk on red wine I expect..anyway I gave him what for and jumped all over him but he jumped back so that was not so much fun ...anyway he did not hang around long as he kept barking and US got fed up with him I think.

 





 Mon 6am..

Today I heard a word I have not hear for a long time..WORK..US said he had to go to 'it'. When I lived in Rhodes with my first lovely Mum (long story..) she use to say the word 'work'..or was it 'Εργασίες' ? anyway I did not enjoy that word much so when I heard US say it I thought it would be a boring day..but oh no how wrong I could be as AS was still here and after brekkie we were off out for another lovely walk, just me and Merlin today as Hazel was still sleeping (or perhaps sulking..she still grumbles at me and I have not bounced on her since saturday..will she ever go over herself?!), Merlins cool though, for a short ass, he lets me do my thing and he does his and we just hang out in a remote sort of way.

Have I mentioned the stairs?..we do not have any of these at home and they are such great fun -  I am going to ask Mum & Dad to get some..I can rush up and down, at great speed, and it makes lots of loud noise :))).

Now I have a question for you all..I have been looking in the mirror lots and I wonder do you think my tongue is too long?...

 

..I think it is probably perfect and I certainly need it because have I told you about my food bowl..well I started off with a normal bowl whereby I could dive right in and gobble my food down in seconds flat..now, thanks to AS so I am told, I have this special maze which means I have to eat slower and work hard, with my perfect tongue, to get my food out. I am sure she is only doing the best for me but what a work up!!..I thought I must be the only dog in the world having this but when I got here I found H&M had them as well so now I do not feel the odd one out.

 

So its tea time so off I go..speak to you all tomorrow.

 

Tue 6am (again..when do we lay in?)..

I am now getting the routine, up at 6ish, brekkie and then a walk..last night AS had to go out to work (wash my mouth out) in the evening so I would not eat my tea until she came home - but I am still ready for brekkie this morning.

Then its leads on and I am off out with Hazel this morning, all quiet out this morning (probably too early for normal folks) and after half an hour I am home but hang on..we drop Hazel off at home and collect Merlin and off we go again so lucky me I get 2 walks.

 

Quick snooze, and then before I know it I am off out again and you will not believe the result of this little outing!!??? ...I am IN LOVE!!, he is so gorgeous and we play together and rush around and around and look at him..what a dreamboat - his name is Marley and he is one of AS dog walking clients..I hope I see him again soon.

 

 

This afternoon AS was off out for a bit so I did my usual thing of going upstairs to my huge bed, I have told you about my big bed have I not?..but when no one was looking I spotted an even better, and bigger, bed and as H&M were downstairs I thought well 'why not'....

 



 trouble was I feel asleep and got caught out when AS came home, oops.

 

Now I am not very good at holding a pose to get a good picture but I did want to send back a big kiss to my original Mum in Rhodes - I had to leave her there when I came to stay with my lovely second Mum & Dad in the UK  (but they are all related so I know I will see her again)..so here you go Mummie K, happy smiley face especially for you XX.

  

 

  

 



Wed 5:45am..for goodness sake..

US decided he was going into work early today so it was a 5:45 wake up call..that man has no shame.

He woke me up from a lovely dream I was having of my new boyfriend and today I have decided to call it 'Marley day' and spend it with just one thought on my mind..'When will I see him again?' ...

 

so to fill some time until I go out I think I will just steal Hazel's toy elephant and give it a good chew!, she has too many toys anyway. 

 

 

 

After a few hours, don't get me wrong I have already had a good long walk, I heard a noise downstairs and rushed down to where AS was letting someone in the front door..I was told her name was Jackie and she is a  lovely lady, I gave her a good sniffing as she smelt of dogs (not that a human would have been able to tell)..she was obviously a big dog lover and she made a big fuss of us all..I was told that if I am very good, and if Mum & Dad agree, then Jackie may look after me for a day in Sept so that AS,US and Mum and Dad can have a day out together...oop I hope they say yes.

 

Back to bed for a snooze...do you know I have this enormous bed all to myself, not like H&M who have to share a bed..I am sure I have told you (hehe)..anyway yet again I am woken with noise from down stairs. H&M are making a fuss about something so I am off to investigate... 

 

"Oh still my beating heart!", dreamboat is here again..perfect day...

 

we rush around the garden, tumbling and play fighting and gasping for breath and slobbering through bowls of water..

 

After all that play, this video was near the end and I was getting top spot,  we were so spent that we had to chill out under the table ..

US he goes to work on a big noisy motorbike but there is one advantage to the noise and that is I can hear him coming down the road and can make sure I am ready to greet him when he comes through the door..has anyone told you about my smile?..well its a really toothy grin and I curl my lips up and look real fierce but its a smile honestly..I only give it to very special people...wish AS could get a picture but I am too quick for her..anyway back to AS arrival, as you can see I am ready and waiting..

And you know what it means when US come home?!!!...its TEA TIME..I have already told you about my maze but do you know about my kong?, at home I only get this when Mum & dad go out, but here I get it every evening as part of my meal because H&M do as well..we get half our food at about 6pm, in the maze, and then when US&AS are having their tea we then get our Kongs, ...can you guess which one is mine :)

Not sure why Hazel has the smallest as she is the one with the biggest mouth..hehe..love her really.

 

Thur..I am not even going to bother checking the time! 

US is working at home today because AS has to go out to work for most of the day, bummer, so us lucky dogs don't get left alone for long...so we are all piled in the car start after brekkie.only a short journey and we arrive at a new location..another big wood and its great cos US is also with us today as well..

 

Goodness me there were so many interesting smells and bushes to dive into..bummer still not allowed off lead, I really do need to learn to be like H&M and stay close by then I may be allowed off//but I suspect I will never be able to control myself that well.

 

We came across this really big field, even bigger than our normal one, and AS said we will come back soon with the ball thrower and balls..look how big it is!, loads of space to run..i can't wait.

 

Lunchtime guess who I played with..ok I know easy question..do you recognise his tail?..

Ok so spent rest of afternoon snoozing as AS was at work and US was working from home and he is not so 'interactive' as AS :)...at some point I went outside and decided to insight a game with Merlin.."come on little squirt lets play tug of war"...

 

Finally, and I mean finally, AS came home it must have been 8:30pm..I had really really missed her and gave her the biggest toothy grin I could muster up...she better not go out tomorrow else I am going to sulk.

 

Almost bed time..have I told you about my gigantic bed?...!! well ok so I am probably over egging it but I know you have all been waiting with baited breath so here it is..

 

..AS can get in with me as well..and she does!...Night Night one and all..FRIDAY Tomorrow. x

Fri..Yippee its raining so we are having a LAY IN

Well it is double bubble again today, ie out with Merlin then out again with Hazel. It was still raining when we went out, just a drizzle, and I got to wear my individual designer wax coat, this was made especially for me - an original...I am such a luck girl..what do you think of it?.

 ..AS has said that I look ready for the 'Cat walk' but for the love of me I cannot understand why I would ever want to be seen out walking with Cats!!.

 

Talking of cats, I think I told you I have to share my home with 2 cats, I wonder how they are doing without me, I wonder if they miss me..just so you know how good I am with them here is a pic.

 

They are called Boots & Shoes ! - yes I know..whats wrong with Cat A and Cat B after all they never respond to their names..but I hope Boots is ok as he was not very well before we all went our separate ways.

 

 It was still pouring very hard with rain when it was time for AS to do out to do her dog walking clients so I very generously offered her my super designer coat, she was thrilled and tried it on but we both decided that it probably did not cut the mustard and best ask Mum to make a bigger one for her (you listening Mum?)

 

 

Yesterday I had said my goodbyes to Marvellous Marley as I was told I would not see him again this visit then we had an emergency phone call asking if we could walk him late afternoon so what a perfect surprise

 

 



What do you think of my red haltie? I think it rather suits my colouring don't you..its not too bad either as it is a special one that does not ride into my eyes and the lead is behind my head ..as you can imagine AS has all sorts of leads,harnesses,halties etc. ..we are off to the big field, not the big big field, but beggars cannot be choosers.

 

Balls,balls and more balls..I want them all :)

When US got home he had to take his big van over to a friends so they could move house..I decided I wanted to go along for the ride :)

 

 

Now here is the best bit of the day..there is a bit of a tradition in the AS/US house hold that they, on hot evening, go to Burger King or MaC D's for a mini ice cream..so off we go and you are not going to believe you eyes..look at this video, you will need to be quick, Merlin got an ice cream..

 

 

Obviously US took the video and the camera is not the right way up..ask a Man to do a job and what do you expect!.

 

But then Hazel & I got an Ice cream to share, its obvious why we could not share with Merlin as he is no lady..he is a gannet.

Then we all watch US eating his and hoping for a bit to drop off..sadly none did as he has no trouble eating it :(. 

 

I wonder how many Ice cream fat boy Shane oops I mean Merlin has had over this hot summer..mmm.

 

 

Sat ..early but not as bad as last Saturday.

...though we go off without having brekkie!!! appalling.

 

Now when I am going out for a walk I get over excited and turn into a high jumper..what you don't believe me, well just watch this short video and you will see I am not fibbing.

 

I wonder where we are off to this morning..short trip then ooh ooh I remember this place..this is where the big big field is, oh yippee..quick lets get there..I am pulling as hard I can to get to it..and I am here with it all to myself

 

 

 

Now lets have a game of ball throw..AS you throw the ball, I chase after it, I pick it up then I drop it and we all spend 10 minutes trying to find it

 

Remember yesterday I said I wanted all the balls .. well I have got them (except the one I lost that we never found)

 





 Ok after lots of fun and us all getting very wet in the heavy dew we are back off home for brekkie. Then AS and US do the housework - AGAIN - it was only a week ago they last did it!!..
While they are doing this H&M have the down right cheek to steal my bed!

so all is fair in Love and war and I decide to take theirs..hehe..

 

 

The rest of the day has been a very quiet one as A) its been raining all day and B) US & AS have been helping their friends move house so AS has been going backwards and forwards looking after us and lifting and shifting..she must be shattered.

 

Sun - 5:45am..yes can you believe it!!

 

 

US is up early because he has a motorbike race event to go to..both him and AS are walking around like old people today because they both ache all over after spending yesterday lifting and shifting very heavy furniture up and down flights of stairs etc...AS was awake most of the night with a bad back..I tried to comfort her as best I could.

 

So me, H&M all went out for a very early morning walk today..still very wet out following yesterday rain.

 

When we got home well what a miracle..look..finally Hazel is not worried about being close to me and I do not jump all over her..

Ok so we are all off and out again, goodness this household is always on the go...yippee its a car trip, I love car trips..so where are we off too..

 









 

..I will let you know when we get there...but before I forget I must tell you,(though I would never tell them) I do love H&M.

 

We have arrived at a place called 'Beacon Hill' and it is a very very steep climb to get to the top..at the top we have a picnic, doggie biscuits for us lot and a sausage sandwich for AS..well that was the plan I think but in the end I think she only had half of it as we all helped her out somewhat!!

 Then it starts to rain really hard...and yes she forgot our coats again..air head!! so we all have to make a dash down the hill, how AS did not break a fetlock I have no idea!. 

 

 So back in the car, off for a short ride then we stop at McDonalds..is it ice cream again???..its can't be the sun is not shining and also US is not with us.

 

We are all sat in the boot of the car, including AS, with the boot lid up and a car pulls alongside us....

 

'Well wag my tail off', if its not MUM & DAD.oh I am so excited, how high can I jump, can I jump right over them..let me out,,let me try..pleaseeeeeee

 

 

...they have not forgotten me, and they still love me..and look its still raining and Mum has her sun glasses on, she is just so cool! :). ...I have been good honest..AS please tell them how good I have been.

 

Right so looks like I am off now with Mum & Dad..

 

What more can I say..I have had a lovely week, I have made lots of new friends, I have done lots of new things and sniffed lots and lots of new smells in lots of new places.

 

I hope you all enjoyed my blog...to my Mum in Rhodes I am glad it made you smile x

 

I really hope I will be allowed to stay again, H&M are cool..US is fab and well AS is just the best Aunty ever...

Hi Teena ..Its H&M here ..how you doing?, whats new?, do you miss us yet???

 

Guess what, its a lovely sunny evening so guess where we are tonight..

 

US has disappeared into that building..why has he gone..when will he be back

Oooh lookie look what has he got with him, 4 Ice-creams so thats 2 for each of us doggies is that right??, have we done our maths correctly?

 

 

Merlin had to have his first, obviously, as he is such a gut bucket and the hazel had her's though she is looking les and less like a lady in her manners these days!!

 

We never did get 2 each :( ..US had one and we looked on expectantly for him to share but he never did!.

We think AS had the fourth but she was too quick for us to notice.

 

 

OK so hope your having fun Teena and we cannot wait till mid sept..see you then..
